The Camp and Conference Task force seeks to develop a long-term vision and plan for meeting the program and facilities needs for camping and conferencing for the Diocese of Colorado, based on a substantial understanding of the needs, hopes, and desires of the congregations, clergy, and leadership of the Diocese of Colorado. For those who are not familiar with Quest, it is a youth weekend for the teens, grades 6 – 12, in your church. It is geared to those who wish to grow deeper in their faith journey with God. It includes plenty of worship, small group time, seminars, ministry experiences and plain old fun! This year’s theme is Life as Pilgrimage: Holy Places, Holy Spaces, Holy Faces, with guest speaker, Christian George, author of Sacred Travels: Recovering the Ancient Practice of Pilgrimage. April 11-13, 2008, Frontier Ranch, Buena Vista.

Frontier Ranch

Genesis weekends are designed to provide a fun, non-intimidating environment in which young people can discover and grow in their understanding of the Christian Gospel.
Trinity Ranch is in the Pike’s Peak region of Colorado, 45 miles southwest of Colorado Springs and 26 miles west of Pueblo.
The home of the Diocese’s summer camps, Trinity Ranch is located in the Pike’s Peak region of Colorado, and borders the San Isabel National Forest. The majestic wilderness provides an excellent setting for growth and renewal. A typical week at Trinity Ranch includes Bible studies, crafts, picnics, church services at the outdoor chapel, horseback riding, volleyball, softball, ping pong, horseshoes and adventures on a low ropes course. Campers enjoy miles of hiking trails, fishing and camping out, and Middle and High School Campers even enjoy a day rafting on the Arkansas River.
