Dear friends in Christ,
Bishop O'Neill and I are very pleased and excited to announce that after a long and exhaustive search process (many applications from around the country, lots of phone interviews, and in-person interviews) the Office for Faith Formation of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado has appointed a new Faith Formation Events Coordinator / Camp Director. The Rev. Catie Greene has accepted the call to this position and will be starting this week in her new ministry. Catie has a great deal of experience working with children and youth through parish, regional, and diocesan ministries (see her letter below). She brings a level of maturity, a love of young people, and a deep faith in the Lord Jesus that will grow the existing programs to the next level. I also look forward to the new things that God will do through her as we strive to serve the people of the Diocese of Colorado. You will enjoy her enthusiasm, her work ethic, and her pastoral abilities. Please pray for her and the Office for Faith Formation as we go through the transition and build upon the great work done over the past few years.
She will begin her duties on January 10th and then can be reached at via email or 303-837-1173. She will continue overseeing St. Francis Episcopal Church in Dillon, CO, through to the end of this month.
